Also by Jacquelyn Frank: Having said that, I now must resign myself to wait for the next installment, “Rapture”, scheduled for publication in July Rapture – The Shadowdwellers Bk.
He’s kind of at a loss when he’s around her because he’s never met anyone like her. To the point of almost complete role reversal. I liked the build between Ashla and Trace. He is on the tail of one who wishes to see the destruction of their twin leaders. I do wish that it wasn’t such an instant drawn to each other. They are able to remain in shadowscape for a limited time due to the euphoric state they reach if that time is surpassed.
REVIEW: Ecstasy by Jacquelyn Frank
Fate has given Jackson a profound choice: Willa on May 10, at 4: Different enough from others books I’ve read, which made it an interesting read. Normally the Lost that roam Shadowscape are not aware of the Shadowdwellers or other Lost souls, but Ashla Townsend is the exception.
However he is intrigued by her; when he is forcibly dragged back to reality, the world in which his political expertise is required to maintain the safety of the twin regents of the Shadowdwellers, he fears he won’t see Ashla again. It felt like I was watching an afterschool special with a guest spot from Mr. Jacquelyn Frank has outdone herself.
At one ecstady the darkness, the mysterious Shadowdwellers must live as far from jacquflyn humans as possible in order to survive. The storyline picked up pace again by page two hundred and I couldn’t seam to read it fast enough. Not erotica, but if you find Ward uncomfortable, this will put a blush on your cheeks.
Ecstasy : The Shadowdwellers by Jacquelyn Frank (2009, Paperback)
It just makes everything awkward every time one of them opens their mouth. I wanted him to at least try to stay away from Ashla for a few seconds. Two different, yet co-existing realities that can and do affect each other and the creatures living in either. Jacquelyn Frank’s sensual prose and deft storytelling have made her a New York Times best-selling author.
Ecstasy (Shadowdwellers, #1) by Jacquelyn Frank
I didn’t like them much throughout most of the book but by the end of it I kinda ended up getting attached to them. Ecstacy is my first Jacquelyn Frank novel. Sola Morte, former cat burglar and safecracker, has given up her old life on the wrong side of the law. This is what I love the most about this genre, to read about a whole new world which has nothing to do with the real one, a world with it’s own rules and customs.
I get it was the first book in this series, but still His name was Garrett Richmond and he had always wanted to live by the ocean. But as the two work together to unravel the mystery of his past, she finds herself drawn in by his teasing nature and tender touch.
I can usually lose myself in a good book even if there are other distractions around me. Also keeps mentioning their “conservative” culture, but includes hands- and other parts -on sex classes. I actually laughed out loud at this bullshit.
But since that’s not the case, it was ok. Without a stranger’s aid, one rival would surely have succeeded, but Trace’s brush with death is less surprising to him than his reaction to the beautiful, fragile human who heals him.
Even at the risk of her own life a couple of times. This means that Ecstasy works very well as a standalone book and that there’s no important information carried over from the previous series. However, I didn’t enjoy this book as much. Please email webmaster fantasticfiction. The Shadowdwellers Author s: The Shadowdwellers by Jacquelyn FrankPaperback.
I mean, he was honorable to a fault and it influenced his every decision. I liked the characters, both Eden and Trace. This author created a whole new world out from nowhere and it was so well done that I just couldn’t help wanting to read more about it. This book is not a continuation of Jacquelyn Franks Nightwalker series and I would have a trouble recommending it to anyone except her die hard fans. I loved the idea that events that happen in parallel dimensions are really the cause of unexplained happenings in our dimension, not ghosts or poltergeists.
The bond between Ashla and Trace is a mystery to both, jacquely searching for answers will mean confronting long-hidden secrets, and uncovering a threat that could destroy everything Trace holds precious I wasn’t sure if I should read this series as I had read many ecsgasy comments about it.
To me I think he would have came across better if there was a little more angst or something between them. Trace knows this human female is something special but he has to find out just how special.
My timing always sucks. I found the book to be inconsistent at times.
