If you are looking to expand and get some time based effects that are not in plug in form, this is a mof-x model to get started with. Not immediately as user friendly as the Pioneer stuff, but way better and more original sounding.
Basically everything does what it is supposed to do and it does it well and reliably. The price is expensive if it is new but achte the solidity and strength of the can while mtal frame make it a great product to acqurir OCCAZ.
The power supply is internal with an standard EC socket and power switch on the busy rear panel, which also contains all the connections to the outside world: I also like using both the flanger and the tremolo for creating a really thick and wide flange tone or a wobbly tremolo.
At any time all the bands can be selected simultaneously the default value by pressing and holding the Band button. The distortion and delay switchable table tennis are the analog modeling!

My only complaint is that the Distortion mo-fz could have been a lot rougher-sounding. There are plenty of dials to manipulate each effect to get a real wide variety of sounds for a variety of applications.

mo-fd I also like using ekectrix the flanger and the tremolo for creating a really thick and wide flange tone or a wobbly tremolo. I’ve used it on everything from vocals to guitars and anything else that could use a cool effect or twist to it. Co-inventor of the The Gristleizer. Also the way the processing path is configured may not endure it to studio types, although this is compensated for by the versatility and quality of the effects themselves, which are top notch.
Although it will take a user a fair amount of practice to master this machine, it can subtly affect sound or completely mangle it depending on how far you turn its knobs.

The effects work pretty much as they should and sound electrjx with just about anything you might want to throw at it: A complete list of transmitted controller numbers is printed in the instruction manual. This last button selects the way in which the dry signal is passed through the audio chain.

Did you find this review helpful? My love for it has increased a lot after I took the time to practice using it. The flange is good but I wanted one scan period much longer desync mode, but I’m too demanding, I want a 40 second! AUTO the default state mutes the dry signal when any of the effects are engaged and KILL mutes the original and just leaves the effected sound. When mixed with some of the other effects it can make for some seriously unique tones.
I bought it tomorrow without problem but not at euros, I jumped as I read it was no longer manufactured but it is not a bird is so rare! Power switch on rear. I elecctrix the connections are XLR and the unit is rackable. I add only that there is a selector band hi-mid-low for each effect with seven possible combinations and the tremolo to auto-pan.
While at first it seemed like a crazy noise-box, I have now learned that it can also do all the things a DJM or EFX can do, and sound better as well. My favorite effect is the delay, as it is easy to get a variety of delay sounds from it. The Electrix Mo FX is a digital multi effects unit.
