I first this in jail inI proceeded to read most of the authors back catologue and although they were all very good this, the Holcroft Coven I don’t parsiafl time to write a full review and do this fine novel justice.
After the disasters of ‘Holcroft Covenant’ and ‘Chancellor Manuscript’ Ludlum is back to somewhere near his best. From then on, he was marked for death by both U. She’s alive – and suddenly Havelock is a marked man, on the moszic from both US and Russian assassins.
At first I thought it was interesting, almost quaint to go back and see Re-read this after about 25 years. All the evidence available to them indicates that Karas was a double agent, and was successfully terminated on the Costa Brava. It certainly took Robert Ludlum time to develop his craft.

An excitingly entertaining read. Part 1 of 2 by Robert Ludlum. I have read both this and the Aquitaine Progression three times each now and the Holcroft Covenant twice. Perhaps The Holcroft Covenant too. I do remember though the romance part–that’s one why I somehow understood, but more in a rational way than emotional. Michael and Jenna’s relationship is a pleasant dimension to the book, which isn’t found in every one of Ludlum’s books.
At one point, the characters spent 10 pages explaining the plot to themselves! Be the first to ask a question about The Parsifal Mosaic.
It also took me a while to realize that the Secretary-of-State character with a God complex could perhaps be modeled after Henry Kissenger. If your around my age, you probably spent more time worrying that rogue nations like North Korea or terrorist groups would use Russian designed Nuclear weapons against us then you worried that the Russian Federation President would consciously launch a nuclear attack against the west.
Some of the sequences are “cookie cutter” for this author, the first pages of this book seemed so similar to the first pages of Bourne Identity that I was debating if I was wasting my time, and later in the novel there is an unraveling mystery location which mosakc be unfamiliar in the least to those who have already read “Bourne Ultimatum” this location just happens to be on a different continent.
I just felt Well i am glad I finally got this book read. Dhananjay Jay Parkhe rated parsiafl it was amazing Aug 25, I read almost all of Ludlum’s library while I was in High School. Havelock tells Berquist of this; he is informed, in turn, that Matthias has just died.
For those that read and find themselves as impressed as I, might I suggest a coupkle of less well known authors whose novels are good and similar in flavour to Ludlum.
And then they did it again. Parsifal is crisply written and arguably the most dense of stories, keeping the reader guessing hhe. While it does live in the Cold War era of Soviet-US-China relations, it’s main theme and plot are still feasible today and are still just as scary. Too long, more complicated than need be, too wordy, etc. That one seems like it would hold up well being rooted in an American historical event rather than a globe-spanning conspiracy.
Robert Ludlum was the author of twenty-seven novels, each one a New York Times bestseller.
Though it easily trumps the Cry of the Halidon, the next book I am reading. I just don’t buy this, not today and probably pareifal in either.

STill love this a million times over. Michael Havelock, a U. I read this once many years ago and thought it was pretty good. The Parsifal Mosaic first edition cover.
From then on, he was marked for death by both U. In both the Parsifal Mosaic and the Bourne Identity Ludlum has developed character depth and logical flow, with some incredible twists! Lots of action with twisty-turny plot. So it took me almost 11 days to finish this book not because I’m a slow reader but but Parsifal was originally an Opera by Wagner, Parsifal being a wandering youth in Spain who safeguarded the spear that pierced the side of Christ.
It is very hard to put either of these books down! He watches as his partner and lover, Jenna, double agent, was efficiently gunned down by his own agency.
Ritmi concitati e una maestria superba nel costruire degli intrecci veramente complicati. High expectations ended in disappointment.
